Asakir-i Şahane
IN MEMORY OF OUR ÇANAKKALE MARTYRS
We respectfully and gratefully commemorate our martyrs who fell to the ground to carry our homeland to freedom in the "Gallipoli Battles" that started on November 3, 1914 and ended on January 9, 1916, aiming to capture Gallipoli, and who took their place in the hearts of our entire nation with the rank of martyrdom.
Asakir-i Şahane : (Buckled Soldier Belt) It is a belt used by Ottoman officers for a period during the World War I and the Gallipoli Wars. The inscription seen on the belt buckle is "Asakir-i Şahane", attributed to the Ottoman army; soldiers of the sultan, all soldiers. It is the term used for the army.
Product buckle: 6x4.5 cm. Nickel antique patina work on brass-yellow antique patina. The leather used is genuine buffalo leather. Belt dimensions are standard, width: 43 mm. Thickness: 4 mm. Length excluding buckle: 125.5 cm. There are 6 holes on the belt. The only color is black. Belt length can be adjusted by means of the screw assembly at the beginning of the buckle. Product: Presented with an information card and in its own special wooden box. Box size: 13x13x7 cm.
