Prometheus cries out in pain; Zeus has sentenced him to a terrible punishment for giving fire to humans. An eagle that comes every day eats the liver of Prometheus, who is tied to the Caucasus Mountains. Heracles kills the eagle and opens the first shackle that binds the hero.
